If a case summary misstates the record, write to us and say which case and which line. Corrections are made against the filing.

There is a feedback link inside the platform for ideas and problems, and it does not require an account.

Documentation

What to write, and what to expect

We read everything that arrives at the address above and answer within a few days. The same inbox handles all of the following, so a subject line that says which one saves a round trip.

A correction to a case

Name the case and quote the line. Say what the record actually says and, if you can, where: a page of the opinion, a docket entry, a transcript cite. We check it against the filing and change the text, not the other way round.

Grants and due diligence

Funders can ask for the IRS determination letter, the Tennessee certificate of incorporation, and anything on our financials page. We send them the same day.

Educators

If you teach and want to run a case with a class, the education page explains the format. Write to us if you want help choosing a case or want one added to the docket for your course.

Press and partnerships

We answer questions about the organization, the platform, and the method. We do not comment on the merits of a live case, since the point of the platform is that the public does.
